What is Kenotex?

Kenotex is a productivity app for iOS 26+ and macOS 26+ that combines a Notion-style block canvas ("Omni Input"), todos with categories and recurrence, a calendar, habit check-ins, and 29 visual themes. It syncs through your private iCloud account so your data stays under your Apple ID.

What devices and OS versions are required?

Kenotex requires iOS 26.0 or later on iPhone / iPad, or macOS 26.0 (Tahoe) or later on Apple silicon and Intel Macs. Earlier versions of iOS / macOS are not supported.

How does iCloud sync work?

If you turn on iCloud sync in Settings → iCloud, your todos, events, drafts, themes, and other settings are synchronized between your devices using Apple's private CloudKit database (tied to your Apple ID). The data is encrypted in transit and at rest under your Apple ID; we, as the developer, cannot read it.

Sync is opt-in. You can disable it at any time. Disabling sync removes the App's per-device push registration but does not delete your iCloud copy — to remove the iCloud copy, go to System Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.

My data isn't syncing between devices. What should I check?
  1. Both devices are signed in to the same Apple ID and have iCloud Drive enabled.
  2. Both devices have a working internet connection.
  3. Kenotex's iCloud toggle is ON in Settings → iCloud on both devices.
  4. Try tapping Sync Now in Settings to force a sync attempt.
  5. If a peer device just deleted a shelf or item, give it ~10 seconds for the change to propagate.

If sync still does not work after these steps, email us with your devices' OS versions and the App version.

What is Kenotex Pro? What does it unlock?

Kenotex Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks three features:

Pricing: $2.99 / month or $29.99 / year (≈16% off vs monthly), or the local equivalent shown by the App Store in your region. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us:

Cancelling stops the next renewal. You retain Pro access until the end of the current paid period.

How do I restore a previous purchase on a new device?

Open Kenotex, go to Settings → Subscription, and tap Restore Purchases. As long as the new device is signed in to the same Apple ID that originally purchased Pro, your entitlement will be restored within a few seconds.

If "Restore Purchases" reports nothing was found, please verify you are signed in to the correct Apple ID under System Settings → [Your Name] → Media & Purchases.

I want a refund.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled directly by Apple. Please visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Kenotex transaction, and follow Apple's refund flow. We do not have the ability to issue refunds.

I'm hitting the free-tier daily parse limit ("Daily quota exceeded"). When does it reset?

The free tier allows 6 AI parses per day, counted server-side. The counter resets at a fixed UTC time each day; the exact reset time is shown in the App when you hit the limit. To remove the limit, upgrade to Kenotex Pro.

The AI parse returned a strange or wrong result.

The AI parser is best-effort and depends on the underlying language model. If a particular input consistently produces a wrong result, please email us a copy of the input text (with anything sensitive redacted) and a screenshot of the result. This helps us improve the parser's prompt over time.

Notifications aren't firing on time.
  1. Confirm notification permission is granted: System Settings → Notifications → Kenotex → Allow Notifications.
  2. If you're on iOS Focus mode or macOS Do Not Disturb, Time Sensitive notifications must be allowed for Kenotex.
  3. Check that the reminder is scheduled in the future (past-due reminders never fire).
  4. For recurring todos, only the parent task holds the reminder by design — the child instances inherit it.
Apple Calendar / Reminders integration isn't working.

Kenotex requests read-only access to your Apple Calendar so that system events appear on Kenotex's calendar view. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars and make sure Kenotex is enabled. If the toggle is missing or won't stick, restart your device and try again, then email us if the issue persists.

Please do not uninstall the App to "reset" permissions. Deleting Kenotex on iOS also erases the local database. If iCloud sync is off, that data cannot be recovered.

I deleted my todos / events by accident. Can I recover them?

If iCloud sync is enabled and the data has not yet been deleted on every device, the next sync from another device may bring it back. There is no "trash" or undo history beyond that. We recommend turning on iCloud sync to keep at least a second copy of your data.

How do I export my data?

Kenotex does not currently support a one-click export. If you need a copy of your data for migration or backup, please email support and we'll help.

Is Kenotex available in other languages?

The App is fully localized in English and Simplified Chinese. You can switch the language inside the App's Settings independently of the system language.

How do I report a bug or suggest a feature?

Email [email protected] with the subject prefix [Bug] or [Feature]. Bug reports including the steps to reproduce, expected vs actual behavior, and device / OS / App version are most useful.

Kenotex 是什么?

iCloud 同步如何工作?

数据没有在多台设备之间同步,该怎么办?

  3. 在所有设备的 设置 → iCloud 中确认 Kenotex 的 iCloud 开关已打开。
  4. 在设置页点击立即同步触发一次同步。

Kenotex Pro 是什么?能解锁哪些功能?

Kenotex Pro 是可选订阅,解锁以下三项功能:

如果"恢复购买"提示未找到任何项目,请确认您在系统设置 → [您的姓名] → 媒体与购买项目中登录的是正确的 Apple ID。

我要申请退款。

App Store 内购的退款由 Apple 直接处理。请前往 reportaproblem.apple.com,使用您的 Apple ID 登录,找到 Kenotex 的交易记录,按 Apple 的退款流程操作即可。我们无权直接发起退款。

免费版的每日解析额度用完了("Daily quota exceeded"),什么时候重置?

免费版每天提供 6 次 AI 解析,由服务器统计。计数器每日按固定的 UTC 时间重置;具体重置时间在您达到上限时会在应用内显示。如需移除此限制,可升级 Kenotex Pro。

AI 解析返回了奇怪或错误的结果。

AI 解析尽力而为,效果依赖底层语言模型。如果某条特定输入持续返回错误结果,请通过邮件发给我们原始输入(可遮蔽敏感内容)和结果截图,这能帮助我们持续优化解析的提示词。

通知不按时响。
  1. 确认通知权限已授予:系统设置 → 通知 → Kenotex → 允许通知
  2. 如果您开启了 iOS 专注模式或 macOS 勿扰模式,请确保 Kenotex 被允许发送时效性通知(Time Sensitive)。
  3. 确认提醒时间在未来(已过期的提醒不会触发)。
  4. 对于循环待办,默认仅由父任务持有提醒,子实例继承自父任务。
Apple 日历 / 提醒事项集成不工作。

Kenotex 会请求 Apple 日历的只读权限,以便在日历视图中显示系统事件。请前往系统设置 → 隐私与安全性 → 日历,确认 Kenotex 已开启。如果开关缺失或反复失效,先重启设备再试;如问题仍在,请发邮件联系我们。

请不要通过卸载重装应用来"重置"权限。在 iOS 上删除 Kenotex 会同时清空本地数据库,如果未开启 iCloud 同步,这些数据无法恢复。

我不小心删除了待办 / 事件,可以恢复吗?

如果开启了 iCloud 同步,且其他设备尚未同步到删除事件,下次从其他设备同步可能会把数据带回。除此之外,目前没有"回收站"或撤销历史。建议开启 iCloud 同步,至少留有一份云端副本。

如何导出我的数据?

Kenotex 目前不支持一键导出。如果您需要数据副本用于迁移或备份,请通过邮件联系我们,我们会协助处理。

Kenotex 支持其他语言吗?

本应用完整本地化为英文与简体中文。可在应用内设置中独立切换语言,不依赖系统语言。

如何提交 Bug 或建议?
